And a happy new year!

Happy New Year!

Just when it seems I have been missing in action for too long — I am making a brief visit to send season’s greetings.

Life – adventure – these past days have kept me quite busy and regularly without Internet access. But huzzah! Not having connectivity cannot prevent me from writing a little ditty on my WordPress app for later use as I’m on a Reading-bound train from Northern England.

The past however many days have been filled with incredible moments in the English countryside, London, and most recently – Edinburgh, Scotland.

From the Tower of London to Stone Henge to the old Cathedral of Salisbury, my voyages have been far apart and remarkable in their own way. As we headed north to Scotland, we stopped in at Oxford for an education provided by Professor Pims at an old pub 😉 and spent the night in Birmingham. Apart from the places, the people I’ve met and shared experiences with have made this journey as amazing as it has been and continues to be.

Sending off 2012 and bringing in the new year in Edinburgh with the castle as a backdrop, fireworks in the sky, and Scottish dancing all around was one of the most memorable things I’ve done to celebrate a new year.

I’m not one to think much of the tradition of making resolutions for the new year — I believe in constantly working toward self-improvement and change as I see fit — but I will mention a few little things I’d like to see in 2013.
More one with loved ones.
More music making.
Trying new things, especially with style.
Having a memorable year.

Happy 2012!
